Wedding Ceremonies

Weddings:

Congratulations!

You Are Getting Married and Planning Your Big Day.

I am delighted that you have considered me to celebrate your wedding.

I deliver ceremonies with warmth and sincerity, ensuring that couples enjoy the wedding day of their dreams. I love to bring my energy and humour to the occasion, working with a couple to create a ceremony that reflects their love and commitment that the guests enjoy too!

I strongly believe in diversity and inclusion, that everyone is entitled to celebrate their love and commitment in their own personal way.

Your Choice - Your Voice -Your Ceremony

The ceremony is the most important part of your special day as it sets the tone for the celebration of your marriage. I will ensure that your ceremony reflects your beliefs and your wishes. There are many beautiful rituals and ceremony enhancements that may be included in the ceremony such as;

  • Poems or Readings
  • Music or Hymns
  • Wedding wishes or Prayers of the Faithful
  • Hand fasting, Candle Ceremony, Unity Sand Ceremony

Each ceremony is bespoke and planned especially for you, so whatever your wishes are, as your celebrant I will guide you through the many choices. It is not uncommon to have your children included within the ceremony. They will contribute directly if they are old enough to do so and with very young children you can express your commitment and love to them.

I will present the ceremony of your dreams any day, including Saturdays and Sundays, at your chosen venue indoors or outdoors. I am available to travel to venues across Ireland and destinations abroad.

Micro Weddings:

Micro weddings can be very beautiful and personal and are set to become more popular especially in the present climate with restricted numbers. A micro-wedding is basically a wedding with 25 or less guests. It can be incredibly intimate, involving only your nearest and dearest. The ceremony content will still be the same whether you have 25 or 200 guests but it will be more intimate and relaxed.

Wedding Blessings:

For couples who are already married in a registry office or abroad, and would now like to celebrate your marriage at a later date, I can craft and deliver a bespoke wedding ceremony. I will plan a ceremony that you and your family can celebrate with love and joy.

Commitment Ceremony:

A commitment ceremony to honour the love and commitment of a couple, rather than a legal wedding ceremony, is the perfect choice for many couples. This may include the choice of rituals and enhancements of a traditional wedding ceremony, and I will plan the perfect ceremony for you according to your beliefs and wishes.

Your Date Is Reserved Once Your Booking Deposit Is Processed - We Can Then Plan Your Ceremony

My services include an initial meeting with you both in person (or virtually) to help me get to know you and vice versa. A selection of readings, vows and other elements of your ceremony will be provided for your consideration. During follow up online contact we will craft a unique and personal ceremony. A final draft of your ceremony will be agreed prior to your big day. I will conduct a rehearsal if required to ensure that everyone is confident and relaxed for the wedding ceremony.

"There is no remedy for love but to love more."

I am a registered solemniser of marriages.

In Ireland, there are two categories of legal marriages:

  • A religious or secular ceremony officiated by a person approved to marry couples under the Marriage Act 2015.
  • A civil ceremony held normally in a registry office by an official registrar.

As a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister, I am approved to officiate at legal marriages as a registered solemniser under the Marriage Act 2015.

Notice of Intention to Marry: Couples must give at least 3 months notice of their intention to legally marry in Ireland.
