About Me

Marian Dooley Celebrant:

I am privileged to offer a service that is a response to the changing needs of our time. I am honoured to facilitate people of all cultures, all faiths, all beliefs and none. My career change to become an Interfaith Minister was the most natural transition I could have imagined. It has come at a time when society is becoming more secular, when we require more diverse ways to celebrate the important milestones in life, with an authentic reflection of your beliefs.
I have spent my career working in communications, presenting to both large and small audiences. My work has engaged with a mix of corporate and private groups. In recent years I worked in the fashion industry. I was the Community Representative on the Board of Management of Midleton Educate Together N.S. from 2016 to 2018.
I am a wife and a mum.
Through my academic journey I have graduated from Beaufort College Dublin, University of Limerick and University College Cork.
On my Celebrant journey, I trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and have been ordained a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister.

I am a Registered Solemniser of Marriages

As a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister and a Registered Solemniser of Marriages, I am legally authorised to marry couples in Ireland.

So Why Choose a Celebrant?

A Celebrant-led ceremony is a personal ceremony that is crafted and delivered especially for you. As an Interfaith minister, I offer more than a civil ceremony as I am not restricted by a church or a registrar. As such, I have the freedom to include (as you desire) some religion, spirituality, traditions or culture from another country or an extra ancient ritual such as Celtic Handfasting.
I offer ceremonies for all important milestones including;
  • Legal Wedding Ceremonies
  • Wedding Blessings
  • Baby naming
  • Funerals and Memorial Services
Booking:
Your date is reserved once your booking deposit is processed - we can then plan your ceremony. My services include an initial meeting with you both either in person or virtually to help get to know each other. I will then craft a proposed script which I will present to you for approval in advance of the ceremony.
